Surgical Penile Lengthening
Surgery of the Penis Suspensory Ligament
Procedure:
A common technique to lengthen the penis in Australia can be achieved by a surgical procedure that cuts the suspensory ligament of the penis, allowing it to hang with more length outside of the body (see diagram below). The incision is made in the pubic region which usually leaves a horizontal scar of about 4cm in length.

Penile Widening
Injections for Penis Girth Enhancement
Procedure:
There are various substances and dermal fillers cosmetic surgeons use to inject into the penis for penile augmentation. These injections are used to increase the overall girth, or in other words penis width and thickness.
Method 1:
The first method we’ll discuss to widen the penis is fat injections. Fat is usually taken from a part of the body such as the abdomen, then injected into the penis. This technique does not give permanent results.
The majority of the injected fat does not stay within the penis as the body can break it down to use, just like any other stored fat cells. Eventually the fat can even disappear entirely. Numerous patients have reported uneven lumps as a result of this method, technically known as Pseudo Lipomas. To properly correct the deformity if it occurs, surgery will be required.
Method 2:
A newer method being used for penis enlargement injections is a substance called Hyaluronic Acid (HA). It is of a gel consistency and is injected into the subcutaneous tissue underneath the skin. It is necessary that the patient has an erection during the procedure, which is medically induced by injecting Prostaglandin. The HA dermal filler takes about 1 to 2 weeks to be fully absorbed into the penile tissue. During that time it is advised to gently massage any lumps to help improve having a smooth aesthetic end result.
After the substance has stabalised the body starts metabolising and reabsorbing it. The girth enhancement of this method will usually last about 1 to 2 years, therefore not making it a permanent solution.

Healing Time:
It is generally expected for 1 to 2 days, a bandage will need to be used to wrap around the penis for the prevention and control of swelling. Experiencing bruising and tenderness is expected for about 1 week. Masturbation and sexual intercourse should be avoided for at least 5 days. The penis needs to be kept very clean for at least 1 week after the injections.
Results:
Penis enlargement injections can generally offer around a 0.5 to 1 inch increase in penis girth (depending on the amount of injections). This measurement is to be considered when measuring the penis circumference. Results last approximately 1 to 2 years.
